My mom was talking about how she's terrified about Mars going into Ares and about how we are all going to die because "Ares is going to be very present in our lives"

And I just.... went on a whole rant about how amazing ares is. About how she should be happy about this turn of events because yes, Ares is a war God, but he's also the God of domestic abuse victims, and minorities, and standing up to injustice. He's brilliant and kind and gives people strength and bravery.

I don't work with Ares, and I've worshipped him in passing but, he is only something to fear if you disrespect him or if you're in the wrong.

So I may have become a devotee of Ares. Officially. This is exciting and a little terrifying, but in a good way.
