Uh, okay okay, so. no, all the cats aren’t dead. There’s kind of a lot of info on why Nari is chosen, it’s a big long... This… is explained more in something I’m working on rn, I won’t go too into it. But the prophecy specifies 3 eyes. (“But Narinder doesnt start out with three eyes in the fic” you say. yes I know that but he was born with them.) his village is killed for hiding him, not because they’re cats. So there are still cats.

As for sheepfolk. Oh yeah. They exist. And I’ve got some incredible lore built for them that has literally zero point in regards to the story but fuck it we ball. I loves the sheeps

imagine that instead of zhongli and childe finding us it is WE who find childe, moth was just exploring and got too carried away and ended up being in a cave where we're just sleeping the hour away. but we wake up when moth just whimpers so OUR EYES open and we see a trembling, scared, smaller than us abbys creature.

when we get closer moth just whimpers and tries to make himself look smaller. BUT, what moth doesn't expect is that we take him by the fluff with one of our heads and start walking toward liyue, where zhongli is looking for childe.

and in the journey moth just looks how we live so carelessly in the wild. like how we get fish from the river, sleep on trees, etc.. moth is just amazed because he is used to having everything by his hands, or claws..

AND WHEN WE FINALLY GET TO LIYUE

everyone is just screaming and screeching but the millileth don't come closer because we're just carelessly moving our tail, wagging it. because our tail just gets people out of the way, but we accidentally can send people FLYING. like if we hit someone with our tail the person ends up just getting smacked HARD and is sent flying towards a hard surface. so the millileth aren't going to take that risk and decide to not do something

and moth just chirps when he spots zhongli and we take him to zhongli. and zhongli is just amazed because we're so big and feral ?#*@(', like "oh god there are more abbys creatures" and also childe has gotten attached to us bc he whimpers when we start walking to the forest. moth wants us to stay with him.

the entire time while you're taking him back to Liyue he's watching how swiftly and confidently you move through the forest and he's so amazed because!!! he's used to being spoiled and taken care of so he can't even imagine being able to jump so far or wade undeterred through cold rivers!! he thinks it's very impressive,,, but also wonders how long you've been alone out in the wild to know the area so well </33

AND WHEN YOU FINALLY GET TO THE HARBOR- he points out Zhongli and you (gently) plonk him down so he can go home, but when you turn to leave he whines and tugs on your hand. he likes you!!! you're like him and he doesn't want you to leave!!! plus you helped him get home when he got lost!!! he pulls you over to Zhongli and whimpers so sweetly to him, asking if you can stay, and Zhongli just can't say no. you seem decently calm anyways, other than your tail thumping on the ground as Childe purrs and snuggles up to you in delight. you hum in return and lay down next to him, tucking him close to your body as you relish the sun.

of course, Zhongli WILL have to find a way to calm down the Millileth...

absolutely love the caravan lunch from NV

you can see the food in it that you used to make it! it’s one of the best survival/hardcore food items! it’s neat to imagine a caravan hand/merchant sitting down to eat one on break, just opening their dinky little lunchbox of pre-war food and digging in! it makes sense that caravaners would pack calorie dense food in a convenient case!
