One thing I don't get about the whole "gaylor" thing is I thought it was wrong to out someone.

Like, from what I've seen the theory is "Taylor is gay/bi/in some way queer but she can't come out because homophobia reasons" but then it's a bunch of people (fans?) talking about how super gay she is? If she's having to send secret messages to tell you she's gay she obviously doesn't intend for the whole world to know, only the people who are clever (obsessed? In the know?) enough. Isn't publicly discussing it disrespectful and putting her at risk of whatever is making it so she can't publicly come out?

i totally get the like. ironic ‘i hate gay people’ or ‘i’m homophobic’ in reaction to something but there is a consistent trend with like. every gay person i know where they will say it unprompted in the homophobic way (still as a joke) and like. idk maybe i’m sensitive bc of our political state but what’s the point of that. also why is it funny. this isn’t so much a judgment as much as i genuinely don’t understand. mostly bc it feels like a repackaging of edgy middle school humor and like. idk we’re adults

i hate it when shows or movies have unapologetically wholesome male friendships and everyone online calls them gay. worst of all is that the same people advocating for a healthy male friendship in media are the ones that call two boys gay when it's actually portrayed as a healthy friendship.

i thought we were trying to break the stereotype that men can't have ohter male friends and hug, and come through for each other every time, while simultaneously being 100% straight.

you can have gay relationships AND good male friendships. Not every guy x guy friendship/interaction has to be gay.

Sometimes I think about how my Catholic school made a big show of supporting African communities affected by HIV/AIDS, but never acknowledged the gay men who died and were continuing to die less than 30 miles away. And I just sit there and contemplate the complete lack of compassion.

Telling us about how women were dying from a disease after they were violently raped was fine, showing us graphic images of emaciated African children was fine, but talking about the impact of the disease when it was spread through consensual sex was off limits.

i know im a little late to the conversation but i 100% have been headcanoning gram and nuch's relationship as something similar to kitty and sun from dark blue kiss where they date because they're friends and feel comfortable with each other but like 6 months in they're both like "nope im definitely gay". this is reason no. 1 on my extensive list of why nuch and namo should date.
