i think it's really interesting how shushen's hit list gets treated re her putting them all on the same level regardless of how much they actually had to do with her family's death (disregarding of course that. her father and brother did, in fact, do all that oops but that's not important right now) like they're all equally guilty and deserving of death and all do end up dying and she goes out of her way to reveal to each of them what they did to her and what sheee did to them (consort jia and consort gao and i thiiink consort chun but i can't remember and i haven't gotten that far in the rewatch) EXCEPT for fuca rongyin who is so obviously the most innocent out of all of these people (again ignoring the fact that no one forced shushen's dad and bro to do those things and her brother at least was almost certainly going to die anyways we ❤️ a delusional queen) and like maybe shushen would? have told rongyin what she did/why buuuut i think 1) rongyin could have actually for sure gotten her killed after all that by the emperor because as stated she literally never did anything wrong ever 2) i really do think rongyin reclaims her death to the point where it's so not about shushen or anyone else it's the ultimate act of freedom for her in that moment and i think if anyone had ever understood her and wanted to punish/harm her the last thing they should have done was let her die unfortunately

ooohh... echo zane is so delightful! i do love funny little robots. i think character wise he has so much potential & i wish we saw more of him in later seasons...

i think he has a pleasant design as well.. generally wonderful thing

i’ve said this before but the biggest missing opportunity in resident evil village is that outside the opening scene where they’re all bickering with each other, the devs didn’t seem to quite realize that the idea of the world’s shittiest x-men being forced to be siblings by a cult leader is maybe the funniest concept ever. like i love my thoughtful analyses and in-depth character drama and explorations of how seriously each individual lord takes this forced family as much as the next guy, but also i want to see them all try to have an awkward family dinner where alcina keeps passive aggressively bemoaning how undignified it is that they have to eat with plastic forks because any time they use actual silverware, karl telepathically flings it at sal for no good reason and angie runs around with the knives and stabs people’s shins
