I just wanted to inform you that the magnificent century costume blog @ottoman-sultana you’ve been reblogging steals the gifs from @awkward-sultana , the og creator actually posted about once but the user stealing them has simply changed their username since then to what it is now. I just wanted to tell you this because it is quite unfair that @ottoman-sultana gets credit for the gifs even tho it was @awkward-sultana who sacrificed their energy and time to make them :/

Hi anon. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have gone through the tags and did indeed see evidence of theft and have removed all the reblogged posts from @/ottoman-sultana. We are currently going through our queue to clear those posts out too (if they're there) to make sure we no longer reblog from them, and offer our apologies to @/awkward-sultana.

I speak on behalf of all memebers of Period Drama Source, who are all talented gifmakers themselves, when I say that we do not tolerate content theft. In the gifmaking corner of Tumblr, there are hundreds of blogs that focus on gif and graphic creation resources, including detailed step by step tutorials on how to get started on making your own gifs, graphics and edits. There are communities dedicated to the improvement of this skill and will not hesitate to help you if you ask them. There is NO excuse EVER to steal from any creator to claim as your own.
