Say the newlyweds need help with maintenance at there place (sink is broken, washer being weird, maybe replacing their previous bed frame!) and for whatever reason they somehow end up with Percy taking a look. They'd offer to help eagerly. Would this be the beginning of the newlyweds taking interest in their friendly, helpful neighbor? Or would they continue on oblivious to how their eager hovering is affecting Percy?
So young and eager to please, wanting to help however they can and repay their generous neighbor but maybe he denies repayment he knows they'll leave their window open tonight.
the newlyweds are sooo sweet to percy while he's over there fixing their sink. asking him to please excuse the mess–there's no mess–because they're still getting everything settled and together. offering to hand him whatever tools he needs. to hold the flashlight he keeps dropping, which wifey takes with a bashful grin as she squats next to him. his heart damn near bursts when she ask if he can explain what he's doing so she can learn after a few moments of tense quiet.
the sweet thing hangs onto percy's every word as he speaks down low, taking his time to show her all the steps, and answering all of her questions. he doesn't think the day could get any better… then hubby shows up with a glass of lemonade at his side and a boyish grin when he hands it to him. thanking percy for being so kind to me and my lady.
it's after that day that percy is over there helping them fix their fixer upper. the newlyweds paying him with lemonade and tea and dinner and their warming company. something brewing between the three that no one is brave enough to say until wifey finds the first video…
