he d o e s n ’ t understand you like i do
Alina was stood in Jett’s apartment, looking down at the floor as she had tears in her eyes. “I was just a stupid failed experiment to him. I don’t have a purpose.” She explained, looking at the other and then looking back to the floor beneath her. “Besides which, I can tell that Silver doesn’t like me.” Alina mumbled, shaking her head afterward. “He doesn’t understand you like I do. Or how any of us do for that matter.” Jett began. “Alina, just because you weren’t... Brought to this world the same way as the rest of us, it doesn't mean you don’t have a purpose. I mean, look at Van. His planet was destroyed and he was sent here in an escape pod with no way of deciding the coordinates.” He said, moving his arm forward so he could hold her hand.
She let out a little sniffle before letting her eyes slowly meet Jett’s.
“You were created by an evil man for evil things, and look at you. You’re doing good and you’re performing a lot better than we thought. Richard Termperwing only makes half-lives. You were needed for something much more than what they serve, but you’re with us now. We can make things better for you.” The tall male replied, looking down at the girl before him and smiling. With a small nod, Alina went up on her tip toes and pressed her lips against his, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck. “You’re not useless. You have a purpose, and that was to be with myself, Silver, Chaos, Evander and Maddox.” He said after moving his lips a few centimetres from the girl before him. “I-I’m sorry. I just... I dunno. Sometimes it gets to me, but I’ll be okay. Anyway, you’re right, Jay.” Alina replied.
