i’m so annoyed that they had bernthal record a couple metal-ass voiceovers for some of the goddamn punisher promos but it never occurred to them to integrate voiceovers into the show itself as an illustration of the war journal

i maintain that we never really got the punisher in the netflix mcu we got frank castle and we got brief flashes of what the punisher could be but all the shit that really signifies frank having made a full pokémon evolution into the punisher was either grievously underutilized or absent

benefits of making this change:

the line “you’re the whirlwind” actually gets to be cool instead of being immediately rendered lame because the fucking. ~~whirlwind. is just like “nvm bud. i believe in second chances”
