im writing my thesis atm and i kind of went off with this one

The way that art is slated to  the world is that it is always and required to be personal to the artist. Every detail is connected to a facet of the artist. So in defiance of that I say I am an artist. But the stories i tell aren’t my own. So everything tells me I'm not. To that i say, I AM AN ARTIST. I will bear my teeth and stand tall in the face of whatever comes my way and say I AM AN ARTIST.
