Honestly very funny to me every time a wheel of time character just. Stops adding their own narration for a stretch of the books. They’ve got other stuff to do offscreen, or they’re unconscious for a whole book, or whatever. Probably best executed in book 3 when everyone is simultaneously and independent of each other trying to do a heist on the same un-heistable fortress, and meanwhile Rand spends almost the entire section of the book offscreen too busy to add his own narration, speedrunning the break-in in the background while everyone is Spider-Man meme pointing at each other on the rooftops of Tear. The wheel of time is a comedy* you see.
