one of my niche sub-interests is women’s role in world religions/mythology and how we’ve been systematically erased throughout history as a means of political and cultural control. just interesting.

that is good advice though sometimes it is nice, especially in the setting of fanworks, if your instinct is to make character A do something and character B react to it or whatever, it could be interesting to see if character B could be doing the something, and see if that works. maybe the character could do unexpected things, it could be interesting

#like with johnlock the instinct is to have sherlock do a weird thing and john react but john acts silly sometimes too! yknow #hes funny and fun #or with vulnerability or emotions or what have you #imo its unrealistic (for these characters at least) to always have one be emotional and one be stoic but thats the instinct in most fan spac #*spaces #like it especially could be striking when you have the one whos always being the comforter being the one who needs comforting or something #anyway thats just imo #i say things
