Some spoilers from the kid’s books that leaked below the cut:

Chewie and the Porgs: Apparently there really isn’t any spoilers there. Chewie didn’t like the Porgs at first, but now does.

Rey’s Journey: Not a whole lot, but it more and less debunks most if not all of the “leaks” that came out. Apparently, Luke threw the lightsaber Rey gives him over the cliff, leaving her stunned. At some point, Luke goes on the Millennium Falcon and find R2-D2 and finds the message that Leia left so long along, asking for help (Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi...). Luke then realizes that helped his sister before and he needs to help her again. This is what prompts Luke to agree to train Rey. I say this debunks most of the leaks since many of them had Luke’s catalyst for helping Rey be something entirely different.

Rose and Finn’s Mission: So, apparently Rose’s sister Paige did die in the beginning battle. Finn wakes up after this happened and, once learning where Rey is, attempts to take an escape pod to go get her. Rose, however, catches him (so apparently she learns pretty quick that he isn’t this ideal “hero”) and basically knocks him out with a taser to stop him. Rose apparently hates traitors and won’t let her sister die in vain. When Finn comes to he reveals to Rose that the FO were able to track the resistance through hyperspace. Apparently, Rose is aware of this technology and knows that only a single source, the FO main ship, could and is tracking them. This gives Rose the idea for her and Finn (she needs to go for her technological expertise, him for his inside knowledge of the FO and its ship) to disable this tracking device so the Resistance could escape without being followed. I’m not sure how she convinces Finn to go for it, but they then go and reveal the plan to Poe who likes it. All they need is a master codebreaker (who isn’t DJ) to crack the first order clearance codes to get on board. This brings them to Maz who tells them about a Master Codebreaker who lives on Canto Blight.

This of course brings Finn, Rose and BB-8 (although they don’t know he’s with them) to Canto Blight where they look for their Master Codebreaker. Finn and BB-8 are dazzled by the glitz and wealth and get distracted while Rose tries to keep Finn focused on the mission. While Finn and BB-8 have a good time, Rose isn’t so pleased with what she sees and at some point tells Finn that the people there would essentially let the FO take over and kill all their friends as long as the rich can keep their money. This makes Finn have a change of heart and realize that the Canto Blight people really do suck. Unfortunately, shortly after this chat, they are arrested after the police find their ship parked on a beach and they are put in the same cell as DJ. After hearing them talk to each other about what the hell they do now, DJ tells them that he can crack the code and get them on the ship and that’s where the story ends.

Edit: So, it apparently doesn’t stop there! Rose and Finn agree to DJ’s arrangement, because their mission is kind of time sensitive and they don’t really have a choice. DJ is able to break them out extremely easily, demonstrating that he’s done this a lot before. They don’t have to be concerned with the guards because BB-8 was able to tie them up. Rose, Finn, DJ and BB-8 leave, but are quickly chased by the police. Rose and Finn are separated from DJ and BB-8 in the pursuit and find themselves in the Fathier stable. They befriend the stable boy who also wants to help the Resistance. With the boy’s help they break the Fathier’s out and climb on one’s back. This creates some chaos and confusion, but the police are able to spot Rose and Finn on the back of one. The police give chase. The Fathier carries Finn and Rose right to the edge of cliff and drops them off. Finn and Rose are now stuck and about to be caught until DJ quickly comes along with the ship he stole, along with BB-8, and picks them up. So the story ends with them headed to the FO main ship.
