I am supposed to be writing fic for MerMay today but I am *not* and sometimes when I’m stuck I pull out some Tarot cards for inspiration and they were NOT HELPFUL today because they were all swords and coins and just. IDK WHAT TO DO WITH THESE OPTIONS, PEOPLE.

hey guys

my I thought this was going to be a 1k angst ficlet

is over 20k now

I am really really bad at knowing what I’m doing

so I’m hoping, for season 3 of Shadowhunters, to do a series of episode reactions/interstitial fics, and in preparation for that, I wrote like, a 2x20 epilogue for before it starts and just

those few Shadowhunters people I’ve met since I started watching have no real exposure to my previous fic so this won’t mean a heck of a lot to them

but for the rest of you

I may have written the legit sappiest sentence that I have ever seen. I thought maybe it wouldn’t be so bad when I came back to look at it today, BUT... I know realize it may actually be even worse than I first though

/and I have a long and storied history with the ridiculously sticky prose, let me tell you

(I love it, don’t get me wrong, there’s a reason this is my fic-niche, it’s just. Ridiculous.)

I am not sure if it is enjoyably ridiculous or too ridiculous, I shall have to get a second opinion, but still.
