Based on The Punisher #51
Frank completes seminary school and then goes to college to get his Master's in Divinity. He takes his vows, he does not meet Maria. His path is severely altered. He looks over an old parish and an old church. He waits patiently as the money is raised to modernize the old building. He goes over the rules each morning as he wakes, and says them as he says his own prayers; a priest cannot marry, a priest cannot abandon his flock, a priest cannot harm his parish.
He takes confessionals; his penitents come and sit in the booth as he listens to them confess. It took him a long time to learn to forgive, to give mercy, but his hand still shakes when hears someone confess something awful. He breathes, he waits, he says hail mary's. He reminds himself of the rules: a priest cannot abandon his flock.
