Hi! I have a kinda of weird question and it's totally okay if you can't answer it.. so basically I have social anxiety and I've over the past year or two whenever I get sick (like the flu or just a cold or something) my anxiety tend to be not as bad? Like I feel a little bit less anxious about talking to people and I can just talk to people easier.. I was just wondering if you had any theory's or happen to know why that is? Thanks! -Steph

Hm, this is a very peculiar situation. The only thing I can think of is that maybe being sick gives you something to talk about, and therefore it eases your anxiety of having to talk to people? I know that my social anxiety revolves around not having anything to talk about or running out of things to talk about, so maybe it’s the same with you!

Or maybe it’s because your mind and body are focusing all of their energy on being sick that they don’t have time to focus on your social anxiety.

Followers, does anybody else have any theories?
