“I’m not sure why you brought me here, but I’m not staying long.”
“Greyloooock.”

“Such a spell is rather complicated, my lady. If you want me to have an attempt at it, it is my noble role to do such, but I must warn you it may take me a few attempts to be successful.”
A total farce; the spell was actually quite simple, yet he needed to cover himself in case he botched the spell as he usually did. She most likely didn’t know better. At least, he hoped she didn’t.

Nervous eyes settled upon the package that Meg had begun to unravel. Between the horrible hack-job of a wrapping job he had done, and the general thought that she’d dislike what he had gotten her, he couldn’t help but squirm in place with a whine silent to himself quietly humming under the sound of the crackling fire.
What lay inside the gift was an crimson red over-cloak with a hood; long and thick, reaching to the floor. The trim a black fur, with golden buttons acting as the clasp.
Greece was warm; Enchancia was far from that this time of year, and despite her protests that she was fine, he had grown accustom to her fibbing about such things over the course of their time together. Better safe than sorry the Princess had told him, and thus he had decided to go with his original idea for a present. Now, however, he worried (as he usually did) that he had made the wrong choice.
“My niece picked it out,” he would state with a crooked yet warm smile, “I thought it might be to your taste…”
@contractualsarcasm - wanted a starter for the holidays. --- “Wassalia is an ancient holiday in Enchancia. It’s been celebrated since before Enchancia was even Enchancia. Granted, I don’t usually partake in the celebrations. I work it. But, if you’re interested, I’m sure I know somebody who would be more willing to do the whole holiday spiel with you.”
