I LOVE that shit. Taboo darker romances have been on my repeat on Audible (Haunting Adeline by HD Carlton, Priest by Sierra Simone, ALL OF THE EMILY MCINTIRE BOOKS) just hit such a spot for me. There's so much potential to use symbolism and message through writing thrillers.

I would fucking LOVEEEE to write a relationship between Raf and MC when he was still teaching in college, just as I think a priest fic of Sylus would be FABULOUS because of the already underlying details using the cathedral/religion in his route. Caleb, all on his already edging taboo, and he's practically already kidnapped her so I'd probably make something for that. Zayne remains to be my fantasy character for a potential doctor murderer fic, and Xavier could be a really, really good stalker fic. There is so much potential to explore the darker psychology behind their characters.

I am going to hell. Please DM me to inspire me to write these I would fucking LOVE it.
