0121 - Starmie
The Mysterious Pokemon
Water - Psychic
3' 7" - Around the size of a 6-Year-Old.
176.4 lbs - Around the weight of a Black Bear.
From the Kanto region.
Genderless species.
Evolves from Staryu (0120)
Info:
Starmie's core glows in 7 different colors of the rainbow, and it is also regarded as a high-priced accessory that is traded in secret, thus leading the Pokemon to be nicknamed "the gem of the sea."
Regardless of its environment, Starmie grows in a symmetrical geometric shape, leading people to believing it is an alien creature, or an invader from outer space.
Starmie is constantly emitting radio waves that cause people headaches, and it is often angling these waves into the night sky, leading people to believe it is communicating with something in outer space.
Starmie swims through the water by spinning its body as if it were a propeller, and as it swims it absorbs tiny plankton.
In ancient times, people believed Starmie were simply reflections of stars on waves in the ocean transformed into Pokemon.

For all the reputation spn has for its hatred towards women, I've really found season 1 to be shockingly normal. Like yeah there's girl-of-the-week characters but that's not unusual for television and they tend to actually be different personalities from each other
Like I'm episode 21 and the first time I was like 'oof' was when they used an outdated 'you throw like a girl' which was VERY common in, what, 2008 to say that.
So I mean what happened? What happened to spn that they just go infamously downhill in how it treats women?
