What a beautiful Sunday here! The temps went up into the low 60s, which feels AMAZING. We drove out to a paved trail about 20 minutes from the house (after a very necessary stop at Taco Bell) and it is my new favorite go-to spot for stroller walks with the little one. Apparently this is part of a huge trail network that runs all the way from the city up to the US/Canada border, and from Albany all the way out to Buffalo. Crazy!
I also put on lip stain for the first time since, like.. I dunno, last summer? I’ve been feeling very, very blah with my hair/wardrobe/lack of makeup lately. The new mom look is getting old. This plus an actual shirt made me feel a bit cuter.
Pep is measuring 24” already which puts him in the 88th percentile for height. We figured he would be tall, since B is like 6’4”, but I’m just amazed that he’s just about too long for his pack n’ play bassinet already. Time to transition to the larger part of the pack n’ play for daytime naps. Gah, he’s getting so big!
