Come with me for a moment: They're literally like if a mercenary got sent by her King to serve under a rival liege lord for recon but then fell in love and was torn between allegiances but then her new lord's former second-in-command came back and was kind of onto the whole thing but used it as leverage (psychosexual) because she likes getting to boss around Marina and she's sure Megan would win in a fight anyway. And Marina is in the middle suffering so beautifully and being sooo conflicted about her desires. Do you see my vision? Also when they started tagging Marina tweeted "I'm disobedient. I don't bow." and Megan replied with "I'll teach you ♥️," so, like, they're literally canonically doing a domme-breaking thing and we are making that woman a switch (you love to see it). Which would then make Penelope joining in extra hot because then Marina would be beneath TWO women and this would be more troubling for her because Penelope isn't even physically dominating so why is she listening to her. And so that's what's under my beautiful metaphor I guess if the mercenary thing doesn't do it for you.
