 @0cloud  my understanding of it is that?? nonbinary is a gender that is nonconforming of the binary so its like a whole different undefined gender while agender is the absence of any gender?? so like? nonbinary is a gender while agender is 0 gender?? if that makes sense idk

Oh okay makes sense, so people who use it that way usually mean nonbinary to mean a “gender” in a sense? The way I grew up with it is nonbinary is an umbrella term - it indicates your gender is not binary. Not binary can also mean no gender/gender neutral. So I tell people I’m nonbinary (ie trans and not binary) & then further explain that I’m genderfluid between woman & agender. When I personally use agender I mean gender neutral as that’s like the definition I grew up with like people used agender & neutrois kind of in an exchangeable way? 

Like I was taught nonbinary doesn’t really mean within the binary somewhere but can also mean outside the binary, not even part of the binary, etc! Blah I’m rambling. 

“Agender individuals find that they have no gender identity, although some define this more as having a gender identity that is neutral.” & is like the definiton listed under the nonbinary wiki! Maybe I’m just a little too old/outside the age range of how generations under me use it?

what is a pet peeve of yours? people saying bless you when people sneeze 

good advice to give? never make fun of someone for not knowing or understanding something, they’ve lived a completely different life than you and this may in fact be the first time they are learning about it, always be open to understand and educate other people
