It’s a lot harder to put a meal made of leftovers together with Marlene in the house now. “I’m not hungry though, don’t worry about it. Have you had something to eat? I can probably head back and get you an... apple, or something.”

Hopefully the insistence, the pseudo-sternness that slid into Mario’s tone just then, doesn’t make Ari feel awkward. He’d never want to do that, so to make sure the vibes stay chill, Mario smiles wide, and brings two hands up to clasp together with the excitement of a new idea.
