And having slowed down, I’m now noticing thing that I didn’t before - the amount of degradation, humiliation and violence that the women are put through and the disgusting slander aimed at them is really making my stomach turn.

Description: Hermione is down on her luck and has to apply for a job with her old Potions tutor. She gets (and observes) far more than she bargained for.
Review: This fic is a short read with a good ending. I like the way that Snape was initially characterized, but for me Hermione was a bit off in the way that she responded to.... certain situations. You’ll get what I mean. Also Snape isn’t the inexperienced angel the title makes him out to be, which I appreciated because I tend to prefer an experienced Snape except on rare occasions.
