I just remembered I had a sort of dream (I was kinda half daydreaming, half dreaming if you get me) where the doctor regenerated into 11 in The End of Time and stops the master from going back into the time war with Rassilon, they then worked together to break wilf out the chamber thing and shoot off in the tardis but still somehow end up crashing in Amy's garden (iirc the doctor just couldn't remember how to fly the tardis immediately post-regen)

After the crash the master gets lost in the tardis somewhere and the eleventh hour still plays out mostly the same I think. The dream sort of stopped there but i like to think the master just pops out of the tardis when the doctor and Amy go back and is like "You are NOT flying this again" so Amy never ends up waiting those 12 years bc they actually just come back after 5 minutes
