12000th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another milestone post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it’s been months since I made the 11000th post, but it has done and a lot has happened!!!!!!! I’ve now reached halfway through the third season of Supergirl and halfway through the second season of Superman and Lois - which is an excellent show, and aside from the teen angst the young actors are brilliant in it and I highly recommend it - and I FINALLY started the fourth season of the Flash!!!! Fic wise I started three new series - emerald legacy, Cobalt Blue and the Flash  and The Adventures of Eliana Kent- and found an unexpected ship in MonWinn (it’s amazing how many of my ships can be summed up by “these two idiots”). I also got the Fraction/Aja run of Hawkeye, something I’ve been meaning to read for a few years now, and I absolutely loved it - Clint Barton is a disaster of a human being and I love him so much (another type!) - and I will eventually get around to watching the series (though I suspect I’ll still prefer the comic at the end) as well as trying to catch up on some of the other films.

One of the biggest things, though- in case you couldn’t tell from the name change and blog title - is that I finally got around to watching the original Karate Kid, and absolutely loved it!!! I was persuaded to watch 2 and 3 before starting Cobra Kai - a show I knew very little about and didn’t get the significance of until I watched the film - and now I’m three seasons in and you know what?? I love it!!!!! Everyone’s varying degrees of disaster - and I’ll admit I can’t stand the love drama because it’s just so fucking pointless, and also the writers relucantance to actually let Johnny and Daniel be friends because come on, we deserve that chaotic friendship, and I’ve gotten the impression that S4 delivers on precisely nothing, but hey! That’s what fanfiction is for!!!!! And yes, I DO ship LawRusso (idiots AND disasters?? how could I resist), though Amanda Larusso is by far one of the best characters in the show in my opinion!!!

As always, since the last milestone I have followed several new blogs!! First - and one of my more recent follows - is @justveeing, a Karate Kid/Cobra Kai fan who creates awesome fanart and fic and I highly recommend checking them out. I also followed @shrinkthisviolet because they were a fellow Flash fan, but KK/CK is one of their main fandoms as well and they ALSO write awesome fic so go check them out as well. @comickergirl makes some hilarious DC fancomics and they make my day when I see them, and @textsfromsuperheroes is also very funny. @stutterhug also makes delightful characters in their comics as well. @columboscreens is, obviously, a Columbo blog who has some hilarious tags, and @michaelthearchangelfan is technically a refollow of mine - Dominion is one of my favourite shows, but when it got cancelled I got somewhat depressed that there wouldn’t really be any new content so I unfollowed, but I recently got back into the show and decided that actually, I would still reblog stuff!!!!!!!!!! And I recommend that show as well - great characters, great writing, and the Angels have visible wings, what more could you want??

I’ve also followed a few fandom event blogs - @olivarryweek because that is definitely a ship I adore, and @polyamships which run the month polyam shipping events and which I plan to do more of in the future, if I don’t get overrun by plot bunnies in the meantime. @kitkatt04340-recommends is another sideblog of @starstruckpurpledragon which, as it says, is basically fic recs, so go follow because they have great taste!! @arrowverse has some great gifs so if you’re a fan, go check them out!! @baoaday and @theoreocat are both cat blogs so they automatically get five stars from me!! @thatbadadvice is absolutely hilarious and I highly recommend if you want a laugh and a good dose of snark!!

@michaelgovehateblog and @becausegoodheroesdeservekidneys I followed because of their snark and vitriol towards UK politics. @queerplatonicpositivity and @jewish-privilege are another two recent follows because I wanted to learn more about both because it’s important to learn about and understand the wide variety of humanity. @changan-moon features Chinese craftsmanship and culture and again, I highly recommend following them!!! And lastly, @eachlittlebird, a blog that tries to bring light and joy into the world, and another one who always cheers me up when I see them!!!

You guys are all so great, and I’m sure I’ll have many more fandoms and blogs the next time, so here’s to the next 1000 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wonderful Shir-Ran Yinon recorded some violin tracks for us. Seems like one of the first songs we'll release will have 140 tracks. That escalated quickly. :-D

Man, I just need one more post and then I am at 12,000. I really hope it is a good one because I would hate to waste this momentous occasion on something trivial, like confessing a dark secret to the world. What to do? Ugh!
