The Pink Album
Why are you friends with people that stalk Benedict and Sophie and think it's funny that they joke about it?
LOL. I’m not friends with people who stalk Ben and Sophie. I’m twitter friends with people who live in London or other places and whose lives/schedules/finances allow them to attend public events that Ben and/or Sophie are present at. That is not stalking, that is being a fan. They are good fans, with pleasant personalities, who share their experiences with the collective and I appreciate them. That they all get favorable responses from Dave and others tells me a lot. I’ve spoken to Dave too, he’s very professional, does his job well, and he seems to think they are okay.
FYI, we were joking about the losers who refer to them as stalkers.
In a former life, I was a “BNF” to two moderately famous athletes. I am still friends with both of them, and have spent plenty of private time with both of them at dinner, with their families, in their homes, whatever. People called me a stalker, mainly out of jealousy, sometimes out of ignorance. It is not a word to be used lightly and it is certainly not a word to be used just because some fans have more access and you resent them for it. Grow up.
Stalking Ben and Sophie is done by your friends (I’m guessing you are a member of the sgb by the tone of your ask, but you may not be because most of them seem to forget I exist). Harassing government employees about public records, searching Instagram and Facebook accounts for anyone who is within 3 degrees of B/S, sending emails to U.K. journalists about your crazy conspiracy theories, those are all forms of stalking by a group of people who are so obsessed with Sophie that they talk about her every day, even if they don’t mention her by name. They are truly her most devoted fans.
I AM NOT OKAY.
