I’ve never been a ‘gym bunny’ or into sports/cardio, being active, etc. Actually I remember being 10 or so in primary school playing hockey outside and I got so out of breath that there was a taste of copper (blood) in my mouth.
I have always loved sleep and doing nothing. Plus chocolate. That all makes for a bad end result.
I was a size 10 at the age of 16; I’ve never been small. But after a couple of bad relationships, my weight crept up to 12 stone when I was just 20 years old. Being 5ft4, this wasn’t a good look.
At the end of 2012, I joined a cheap gym and got my butt into gear. This got me down a stone which I was happy with but still very uneducated in the health area.
In January 2014, I was determined to get rid of the fat, so I started a health journey. I tried slimming world which didn’t workout for me, then just gyming and healthy eating which lost me 7lbs. I had a holiday and postponed my regime for a few months, then in the October I got back on it. I was stuck at 10st2lbs and needed something to really test me, so I tried the Protein World Slender Blend 14 day pack (even though I am not a believer in these things) and got down to 9st7lbs. From there I kept loosing weight and managed to get down to 9st2lbs. I was so happy! By this time it was January 2015 and I decided to start training for the GSR in October.
Unfortunately, I was in a minor car incident in June and this knocked me off my schedule. I had really bad whiplash and was due to move two weeks after the incident, so it was hectic to say the least! Then my work got busy, and I just haven’t got back into fitness since then. I mean, I tried, but wouldn’t last longer than 6 weeks perhaps.
Now I have decided to take up Chloe Madeley’s 12 week plan, as she looks FAF and I love her ‘no bs’ take on things. Wish me luck *worried face*.
