15th July
Not posted much but hoping to update more. Finished block 1 of the plyo session and decided to purchase the Jump manual.
Don’t think I’ll be able to do 100% workouts in 12 weeks but plan on completing all in 16 weeks. This is based on needing to rest if I’m playing basketball and tennis.
Will do a session 1 update later
Vertical jump training
I've started a pretty simple plyometric based vertical jump program. 3 blocks of 4 weeks ( 3 weeks work and 1 week rest). Each week consists of 3 workouts.
Each workout takes about 32 mins.
I've been starting each session with 15 mins mobility amd finishing with a 9 min mobility (on NTC app). So less than 60 mins total.
I'm optimistic that if i stick to the programme and don't get carried away and try and do too much i can make some good gains. Consistency will be key!!!
I'm hoping for a 4 inch total gain but lets see!!
Will test progress after each 3 week block.

Be sure to follow to never miss a riveting dunk training update!
Dunk in 8
Sup fam; just started my journey to dunk a basketball. I have 8 months to slam one down the net. Everything will be documented with the #dunktraining hashtag on my Tumblr if you want to follow along and make fun of me. If I fail, I’ll fail in the best shape of my life. Shout out to @tinfamous who will be helping me document this process and coach me along the way.
DAY 201: session 5 & the beginning of week 2 of my 12 week dunk training. Calves are stronger & I have better coordination. Right big toe seems to be gaining strength despite being extremely week after the initial injury almost 2 years ago now. #30shortdunk #successin12 #basketball #dunk #dunktraining #jump #jumptraining #dunkprogram #coach #lifecoach #lifecoaching #dreams #goals #liverhedream #gym #gymlife (at Stockholm, Sweden)
DAY 193: my new jump workout begins. Who ever thought that really slow body weight squats could hurt so much. #30shortdunk is the new tag & @30shortdunk is the new profile for this journey. #successin12 #dunk #dunktraining #badketball #jumptraining #jump #gym #gymlife #learningtofly #goals #dreams #coach #lifecoach #lifecoaching (at Stockholm, Sweden)
DAY 184: taking it a little easier on the weight since I noticed my form was suffering. Keeping good form will reduce my chances of injury an keep me on track. No bouncing at the bottom of the squat since I have old knee injuries, just using the muscles all the way down & all the way up. I love the feeling of working out, but only when I do it right. Love the gym 😃🏋❤️ #gym #gymlife #jumptraining #jump #dunk #dunktraining #exercise #shortdunker #squats #coach #lifecoach #lifecoaching #successin12 #success #livethedream #basketball (at Stockholm, Sweden)
