My 12 weeks to fitness plan!
I start back at college soon, so I have a plan to incorporate fitness into my daily routine this year. From September 15th to December 1st, I'm going to try my hardest to maintain a healthy vegetarian diet (I don't count calories. I find it horrifically boring) and working out 3-4 times a week (if I feel like doing some yoga on my rest days, I will. I do a mix of outdoor running, lots of cardio at the gym, and a bit of lifting).
Every week I'm going to plan out when I'll do my workouts, and roughly what I'm going to eat for the next few days. I'll be taking progress photos, measurments and weighing myself monthly. Before I start, I'm going to run a timed mile (1.61km) and a timed 5k, and see how much I've improved at the end.
From September 12th (if not earlier, depends when I finish this pack) I'm going to make another attempt to quit smoking. My last attempt failed because I would smoke when I went out to bars/clubs, and then I started smoking when I was hungover, and then I got some bad news and bought a pack. The solution to this is to just not go on nights out or drink alcohol for a while. It'll be a little boring, especially with back to college festivities, but it's the best way and I like to think that a few weeks of sobriety won't kill me :P
Posts relating to my plan will be tagged #12weekstofit, but I'll also be posting recipes, fitspo, and other inspiration/workouts along the way.
Wish me luck! My ask is always open :)
