Idk man. Like yeah that was an extremely polished and fantastic looking take on... the bad guy introduced literally an episode ago had a really happy backstory that turned sad. I'm moved. Yeah I just don't see it. I still think this show is solidly just fine - again I've said before I typically end up thinking the popular acclaimed shounen end up being fucking ass so I appreciate that with Dandadan I actually get why people would like it, but like I literally got nothing from this episode except from that it looked nice, you know?

: ̗̀➛ what’s ur fav singer/band(s): been listening to a lot of classic rock lately (every year a local-ish radio station does a 'top 1000 songs' thing and there is always a lot of classic rock in there and every time I get stuck on it for a while), Deep Purple, Metallica, The Cure, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Genesis, ... Apart from that the one band I've been listening to entire albums of for a while now is Dirt Poor Robins, they're doing very theatrical rock, I love it! More long term favs of mine are Annie Lenox, Hayley Kiyoko, The Pretty Reckless, MCR, Stevie Nicks, Måneskin, Florence & The Machine, Eric Clapton, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Sting, Sarah Connor, Amy MacDonald, oh gosh I could go on... Definitely don't have one Fav, just many many great musicians I listen to! :D oh, and the Instagram guy who does the 'green socialist vampire/free range organic humans' music reels, he's so on point and hilarious. Never do remember his name until I come across a video again though.

I usually stick to one background the entire time I have a phone, but usually it's at least something I picked xD I've had this phone for two years now, so I think it's stuck now xD
: ̗̀➛ most recent/current hyperfixation: star wars! Specifically, fanfiction either about time travel or mandalorians. Or both. Usually featuring some combination of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jaster Mereel, Jango Fett, Ahsoka Tano, Commander Cody, Yan Dooku... Well, and others too, but I think those are my favs lately! Before that it was more Anakin/Tatooine centric fics but I'm back on the Mando train now, also have a whole list of all the mando'a vocab mentioned in fic, at this point I probably know more words in that made up language than i do in Spanish (my 3d language in school, nothing bloody well stuck. Sonic movie 4 is pretty much confirmed and we've already learned directly that movie 3 is gonna have another like new character tease and stuff at the end, so naturally the question becomes who's to come. I think next in the hierarchy of cool marketable characters we can sell toys for little boys of is either Metal Sonic or Silver, right, plus yk either of them fit the antagonist role just fine. Fuck you could even do this plot idea I stole from a tweet that's Silver comes from the future to stop Sonic in the past thinking he caused all this destruction but it was actually Metal Sonic, and then if you want you can have all 3 hedgehogs go Super to take on like Metal Overlord or something. Sounds good sounds cool, I'd be down for this.
Although the next question becomes when are we getting Amy. Really just any female character but Amy is the elephant in the room at this point. Yeah these movies are family movies but they're a little more "for boys", but then the franchise as a whole has mostly been doing a lot better by its female characters recently - Amy being retrofitted into the classic games with Origins, playable in Final Horizon, just as important as our regular Team Sonic in Superstars, her plus Cream and Rouge getting playable appearances in Dream Team, there's obviously Prime bringing her and Rouge into the forefront in a really big way - like Sonic as a thing just for boys has really gone by the wayside which I think is completely a good thing, so it's a shame that the movie series which is where so much of this recent attention has come from has yet to follow suit.
Last movie related thought for the day I think but for how much I just talked about Amy and Rouge being like necessary additions sooner rather than later, I really really do want to see Silver get like his public redemption with a movie appearance lol. He was supposed to be so big and so cool but 06 flopped and so Silver tanked with it and now the series doesn't really take him all that seriously! I want him to get a grand silver screen (ha) debut and for there to be like a Year of Silver to match the year of Shadow! Okay maybe not that extreme but still! Give him another chance! Hoshino just said a few days ago he wants to take another stab at Sonic 06 if we like line that up with movie 4 and a hypothetical Silver appearance in said movie that'd be dope! Come on Sega and Paramount do it.
Following on from my previous post it seems like movie 3 as is won't be the place Amy and/or Rouge are introduced (unless they're just really keeping it a secret but somehow I doubt that) so to sorta just turn in some speculation like. Fowler or someone else already said if movie 3 does well Shadow could get a solo project, and yk that'd be a great place to introduce Rouge assuming said solo project is nothing like the Knuckles series. If they wanted to this Shadow solo project could be Amy's introduction as well although presumably Shadow thing comes after his character arc has already happened so Amy isn't really relevant to him. I guess possible approach is Shadow thing introduces Rouge and then movie 4 introduces Amy and Metal Sonic? That sounds good, I think I could take that. Like I really do think these characters should be here already or we should at least know that they're upcoming, and I think that's probably the most efficient way to do it that still makes sense and stuff.
