Paparazzi whenever they see Alex & Wheels being slightly intimate in public

Omg yes definitely! I feel like after this part though they would both stop giving a shit. This definitely happens in the gap after this chapter and the next💜:

*they are out walking and holding hands again and they’ve just sat down on a bench so they can drink their coffees. After a few minutes of peace and them flirting and grinning at each other Alex hears the incessant sound of the cameras shutter clicking*

Alex: just the heads up Angel, cameras are back

Wheels *looking around a bit*: where?

Alex: think the sounds coming from behind us, don’t look though they’ll just come closer

Wheels *sighs*: do they really not have anything better to do?

Alex *sipping his coffee*: clearly not

Wheels *teasing*: wonder why of all people they choose you? You’re really not that interesting

Alex *looking half shocked half hurt*: yes I am

Wheels: no you’re not, you’re just Alex from high green who enjoys a coffee in the park

Alex: with his best friend

Wheels *joking*: ah, so maybe I’m the one that makes you interesting?

Alex: well yeah, you’re stunning and your always by my side

Wheels *grinning*: and you kiss me all the time

Alex *playfully correcting her*: you mean that you ask me if you can kiss me all the time

Wheels *shrugs*: you never say no

Alex: because I want to kiss you all the time

Wheels *fully baiting him now because she wants a kiss*: you haven’t kissed me since we left the bus

Alex: because you’re not a fan of pda

Wheels: yes I am

Alex: okay then pda in front of cameras

Wheels: well they have come all this way, you may as well give them something worth their while to have come out for

Alex *grinning*: is that a different way of asking me to kiss you Angel?

Wheels *also grinning*: it’s whatever you want it to be

Alex *moving a little closer*: you know if I kiss you in front of these, that’s it. People know we’ve kissed then and more rumours will start. Can’t take it back

Wheels: I’m not embarrassed to kiss you Shakespeare. I don’t care who knows. I’m just happy with you and if you’re happy with me and not pushing it beyond that, I’d kiss you on live tv again

Alex: if you’re happy Angel, I’m happy

Wheels *nods*: I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time

Alex *heart swelling and looking at her in completely adoration*: then ask me your question

Wheels *grinning like a mad woman and leaning a bit closer to whisper*: Can I kiss you please?

*Alex is grinning and slowly gives her a little nod but they both go in for the kiss. It’s sweet and heart warming and it would be a form of heaven on earth for them if the sound of the cameras going off behind them wasn’t almost deafening in the park that they are sat in. It’s not at all a subtle noise.

They both don’t care though and when they pull away, Wheels is just grinning like an idiot and rests her head down on his shoulder to hide her smile from the cameras. Alex is grinning just as bad but he places a kiss on top of her head too. Both of their hearts are swelling and beating wildly for the other*

Ugh, sorry this took so long. As my last post illustrates, Terraria was bullying me last Saturday, and then I had a big school project with a dangerously-close deadline, but everything’s good now. Please take this bonus page as an apology. I’ve already got tomorrow’s regularly-scheduled page ready, this is mostly just here because I realized I made said page in the day while the last page was clearly at night, so this is here to explain that.

No.  He’d stick to what he knew.  Krouse blinked the tears out of his eyes, cleared his throat, forced a shit-eating grin onto his face.  “I don’t see why everyone’s getting so worked up.  How bad could it be?”

Jess made a choking sound, some combination of a sob, a sputter, a hiccup and a laugh.

Krouse saw the incredulous stares, couldn’t help but smile.

“Ass,” Luke said, but he smiled too.
