Today marked exactly a week before your final exams. You sat at your desk in your dorm room, remaking your studying schedule so you could get in as much studying as possible, even with meals, and maybe take the occasional six to ten-minute walk you usually took around campus every day.

You campus consisted of three dorm buildings right near the main exit of the campus, but out of the three, yours was the closest. Each dorm building was three stories high, and you lived on the third floor, at the end of on the halls, with a roommate that only really came once a week to grab some of her stuff. Apparently, she was an engineering major, but you didn’t really believe it.

Since you usually had the dorm to yourself, you often found yourself studying in complete silence or studying with your boyfriend in the room trying his hardest not to distract you. Today was one of those days where you took a step back to plan and maximize your time since it was the last week. Since you hadn’t seen Soonyoung in forever, you invited him over.

“Aha! So if I wake at around six every morning, take a shower and then eat breakfast, I can eat lunch at exactly noon, and I can even fit in around an hour long nap! Then I’ll be in bed by at least eleven-thirty, which isn’t bad.” You said out loud to Soonyoung, who you knew wasn’t actually paying attention, but you appreciated the low hum of approval from him. He sounded so sleepy and you just wanted to cuddle up with him and stop paying attention to your studies just for the night, but sadly, you did have to get at least some studying in for the night.

You finally looked over to him, and your heart melted a little when you saw your adorable squish trying his hardest not to let his eyes close for too long. He looked at you and smiled, and immediately you tossed studying to the side. “You know what, I could use a break.” You said. Soonyoung nodded frantically in agreement, laying down properly in your small, twin-sized bed that was technically only meant for one person.

“You’ve overworked yourself enough for the past couple weeks,” he pointed out. You rolled your eyes, saving your schedule and shutting your laptop. You jumped right into his arms and cuddled up to his side happily, feeling very warm because he was practically a heater right now.

“Says you, Mr. stays up till four o’clock in the morning practicing.” You retorted in a joking manner. He chuckled softly, letting his eyes fall shut, but the smile never wiping of his perfect lips.

“If I don’t practice, then how am I supposed to impress all my carats?” He asked, those his voice sounded weak and low, which meant he was falling asleep as he was waiting for your answer. You hummed softly, not really knowing how to answer.

“Well… if they love you and want you to impress them, they should be a little more patient? Greatness comes with time, doesn’t it?” You asked in return, stroking Soonyoung’s hair to soothe him and to make him fall asleep faster. He needed it. All he did was nod very slowly before letting himself drift off into his dreams. You smile at how soft he looked with his face squashed against your pillow and his mouth hanging open just a little. You were feeling sleepy by looking at how comfy he seemed, even though he was sleeping on half of a tiny bed.

You adjusted yourself on your bed and put yourself a little closer to Soonyoung. You very softly cupped his cheek, smiling. “Sweet dreams, my sleepy baby.” You said, giggling and pulling your hand to your chest. You closed your eyes and let yourself drift off as well, hoping you wouldn’t regret taking this time to sleep in Soonyoung’s arms for the night.
