Peggy Carter Costume Analysis - Blue Victory Suit
In episode 1 of Agent Carter, Peggy wears a blue victory suit with darker side panels, buttons match darker blue, a wide pointed lapel, shoulder pads, and an A-line knee-length skirt. The most iconic look of the 1940s was the Victory/utility suit and was worn during the daytime and at the office. She wears a white button-up blouse with a pointed shawl collar and puffed sleeves. Her shoes are mid-height peep-toe heels with straps in a matching blue color. Peggy's hat is made by Stetson, it’s a fedora with a teardrop crown, and a red, white, and blue looped ribbon band. Her hair is pin curled and brushed out with the bangs pinned back. Peggy wears a classic 1940s makeup look featuring naturally defined brows, light rosy cream rouge, eyeliner, mascara, and her signature lipstick, Besame ‘Red Velvet’
