Anyone else want to ditch their Smartphone???
It's not making me happier, it's just making me more sad and more stressed. The doom scroll (mental) death is a real thing, y'all. I feel like I ALWAYS have to be on it in case someone reaches out, otherwise it would be much healthier to just turn it off for long periods of time altogether.
Give me back my flip phone at this point, let's all go back to old school texting, reading, and computer use like it's 2007 or something.
How very '90's website of you
Do You Still Remember Chat Rooms?
Chat rooms were so popular back then in 1990s and 2000s, I still remember the experience even though at that time I could only feel a little bit at the end of its popularity in the early 2010s. Somehow I still use some of the remaining chat rooms from 1990s and 2000s like Chat-Avenue or Paltalk.
todays site: HappyPuppy.com game reviews
Run by one of the coolest nerds around, Jessica Diane Reitz creator of Unicorn Jelly and staff of many a cool site, HappyPuppy is a nice encapsulation of gaming and gaming culture back in the day when Pokémon gold was still a new thing. Launched in 1995, it holds the prestigious claim of being the first ever commercial gaming website. A lot of the reviews from different times are saved so click around on the WBA to maximize your experience. it’s interesting going back and seeing how people saw them with fresh eyes. It’s definitely worth a perusal if you’re interested in retro gaming!
Mentions of violence and other such things in relation to the games, it’s not particularly eye-strainy nor over saturated with GIFs.

I know I'm a few days late for Halloween, but here's a video with some important implications for the Skeleton War
So, we've all seen this gif. It turns out, there's much misinformation about the origins of it. In the same vein as Kevin Perjurer's deep dive into the Disney Channel Jingle, or hbomberguy's exposé on the Roblox OOF, another intrepid YouTube researcher has done the legwork and found the real story.
