I hate the way they wrote Amanda in this episode, and all because of Dr. Al, but Carisi was extremely pretty. One day I will start posting everything I have on TikTok over here.

“Don’t get married.
Trey doesn’t see you.
But I see you.
Simone, I see you. And I love every single thing I see.”

I love her already
That episode was by far one of my favorites of the season. Well done, NCIS!
We’re back with another Torres-focused episode. McGee and Knight had an AAR-typing contest, and them guessing why Torres was late was funny (but the actual reason wasn’t). Being rude to Dr. Grace was sadly predictable, but the mention of Bishop wasn’t- I was wondering if they’d ever mention her again. Alcohol really isn’t a good coping method, and showing up to work drunk/hungover is extremely unprofessional. The trooper was funny, and the good-Samaritan getaway-driver had a nice emotional moment. The arms-dealer storyline would’ve improved if it was Agah Bayar or someone else we already knew, and also if it wasn’t a copy of Torres’ introduction in ‘Rogue’, down to the hoodwinked girlfriend. Escaping in the trunk of a car isn’t exactly ingenious, but it did work (and the border workers weren’t very good at their job). The shooting gave McGee the opportunity to show off his driving skills, and the interrogation gave Torres serious regret with what he did to his ex. Whenever Marshals on a TV show say someone’s safe and they aren’t, it both amuses and annoys me. I loved Parker getting angry and defensive, and Dr. Grace calling McGee ‘Tim’ was so sweet. I was hoping Maria would yell at Torres- he deserves to be taken down several pegs. Parker saying ‘yep’ was funny, as was Knight proudly explaining how she got the pills. Maria sticking up for herself was good, and the dead Marshal was worrying. The conversation during the situation was lame, but Diaz advancing down the hallway firing was cool. Predictably, Torres and Maria had an amicable conversation, and of course she kept his painting. Ending the episode with a Dr. Grace appointment was nice.
This episode was sort of unnecessary- many plot points had already been mentioned in previous episodes and seasons, and if they wanted to address Bishop and alcoholism, they could’ve done it at any point during the past year.
