That post grit strength feels on a Saturday morning before breakfast, always, always hits the spot no matter what. I love starting my days out with a workout because for me, and me personally (everyone is different) it kick starts my day on a good note, and depending on the day, is if it's one less thing on my plate or mind for the day. Some days are busier, so if I can get it done, first thing, I kick out 2k-3k steps, feel good, and focused. I make sure to take protein within 1/2 hrs to and 1.5 hours after my workout just to be sure that I'm refueling my muscles to maximize protein synthesis and help to promote muscle growth. You don't necessarily have to do that, but depending on your fitness, it can be very beneficial. I use a whey protein isolate because it is quicker digesting and has very little carbs and fats. So now that, that is done, I can finish my cardio and go about my day.
