I don't think I've actually ever posted on here but I'm 1 year clean and sober today!!

Shots from my #1YearClean celebration. My sponsor gave me an incense waterfall. Pretty much my house will now smell like a 1960s peddo Van ALL THE TIME NOW. Because I have no idea how this works! But it definitely works. Spent time w my youngest daughter cuddling in her bed. Went to the Duck Pond meeting and got alllll the love. My home girl gave me Tiffany’s earrings! Like—WHAT! I got an anonymous bouquet of flowers delivered—WHO DID IT!?? Cards and cake and pictures and love. My day has been very emotionally full. They told me when I came into #narcoticsanonymous that #recovery would not be easy but it would be #worthit Today is proof that #TweakersCanRecover and that #methanphetamine was never the good friend I thought. My real friends showed up for me today and didn’t try to kill me, lie to me, or turn me into a schizophrenic. After countless years of writing my greatest dream is to stay clean of self harm behaviors for a year on the #fearsvsdreams sheet at #vanswarpedtour I can happily and proudly say I have achieved my goal. so my cat scratched my arm awhile ago and it's scarred up now but today a friend of mine grabbed my arm and was like "whitney what's that" and nobody has done that to me in so long. like I instantly got nauseous and it brought back so many bad memories. my first reaction was to yank my arm back but then I realized hey I don't have to hide and lie anymore because my cat really did scratch my this time.
