Man, I am trying to be patient with my body as it heals, but this is not easy for my brain. The lack of workouts it's wearing on me. Tomorrow I start adding in more miles. I can walk. That's still exercise. And, I need to accept that I just because I'm not grinding through circuits and weight training it doesn't mean that walking isn't enough. Cuz it is.

• I’ve been back at uni for 2 weeks and I’m loving it but also hating it. I’ve never been this dedicated to uni before and I can see myself trying a lot harder than I ever have in the past 2 years, but it’s also a lot of trying to motivate myself to keep going. I submitted an assignment already this Friday and I have a quiz to do and another assignment to start, and a lot of readings but I’m proud of myself!!!

• I’ve been making lots of friends at uni which is so nice, absolutely love the atmosphere at my uni

• Work has been mediocre recently, I’ve been working with people I love working with and it’s really enjoyable altogether surprisingly

• I’ve been seeing my boyfriend a few times a week which makes everything worth it!!!

• I’ve also been sleeping a lot earlier than usual which I’m super proud of myself for doing considering I sleep at 4am most nights

• My mama bought me a new designer wallet because my current one broke and I’m so in love with it!!!

I haaate the no-internet-ness... and not even because I miss social contact (because I’ve whatsappp and my student union) or fic (because I haven’t read much fic in 6 months and een then ao3 lets you download epub files) but because I miss the sheer ease of it, the quick access to information of whatever you can dream of--that, and streaming films/shows/etc.

My sleeping schedule is so messed up. 😂 At least I have off from school today.

Having someone re assure you that you've done a good job over the past two weeks is real heart warming and motivating. I loved placement so much. I love what I do. I can't wait till everything is second nature, I still have a lot to learn!
