So there's this assignment in my psych class where we all have to diagnose a fictional character with a mental illness, right? Right. My classmate decides to look for a character to diagnose with bipolar disorder. I, of course, suggest Belos. I check the DSM V and he totally qualifies (psych manual thing, a person needs to fit at least 3 traits of the condition to be diagnosed.) She never saw the show. I choose to summarize specifically Belos. I go over the whole 'puritan witch hunter in a world of witches and demons' thing. I go on for 5 minutes before she asks "...so he's the good guy?" "No, he's the villain." "But he's killing all the witches and demons." "Exactly" "So he's killing the evil people." "No....no the witches and demons are just chillin'." I then, naturally, show her a picture of Philip Wittebane, and a picture of Titan Luz and tell her who the protagonist and the villain are just to have some fun. All in all, I forgot a key factor in explaining why he has bipolar.
