Slow down. Take time.
Wednesday 22.01.20
Up and about early this morning, had coffee and then got ready for work, took me an age to get to work due to an accident on the motorway and thankfully my phone warned me before I left the house and I could use the back roads, had a very busy morning and at lunchtime managed to get out for a walk, 2 and a half miles in half an hour, found a nice little route that I will try and do as often as…

Ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill at a speed of 5.2 (11.5 min miles).

Went for a 4/4.5 mile walk at work today with the kids. After I went to the gym and used the treadmill for an hour. I ran 2.5 miles (12 min mile) and then walked the rest. Running felt really good, and I could have done more but don't want to do too much too quickly.

Training: Run
Got in a quick 2.5 miles. It was a sucky run, good to get the crap out before tomorrow’s Murph though. But ugh...
Rain, rain, go away
Well... I had been planning on going running at a nearby high school, but that totally didn’t happen. It has been freezing cold (low fifties, no laughing) and rainy all day. And by the time I usually go running, it was absolutely pouring. No way was I going to catch pneumonia if I could help it. Ended up going to a local rec center with a friend and running on their indoor track instead. Two and a half miles and I didn’t die. Thanks E!
E also introduced me to the magic of foam rollers. I’m terribly disappointed that we won’t be able to use them at basic, but holy cow it was amazing. I think I managed to crack every vertebrae in my back, not to mention release all the muscles in my legs too. I feel fantastic!
HOOAH!

This is the first day I have ever ran more than 2 miles in my life.
