You'd been missing him too much.
Every thought you had was about Raphael, it was consuming you, you couldn't help but grimace at your own thoughts, thinking how your best friend would probably find you deeply weird for imagining him as something more than just a friend.
Shaking out of your thoughts, you enter the lair, your eyes landing on Donatello and April on the couch discussing a matter out of earshot.
April turns to looking at you, donnie turning with a wave.
"Couldn't stay away from the best mutants you know, huh?"
Donnie smiled, standing up and walking over with april,
"What? You guys are like my least favorite mutants"
"Oof, i'm sure you're used to that by now, Donnie"
April pats his arm as he scoffs, turning back to you.
"Raphs in his room, by the way"
Your eyes widen a bit, why would be assume you're looking for raph? Were you obvious?
"What makes you think i'm looking for raph?"
"You're always looking for raph"
You roll your eyes, walking past them to the couch
"Maybe i'm just here to hangout today"
April and donnie exchange a glance before hising their snickering, walking off to his lab. You turn on the tv, putting on some saved film called 'space heroes' and leaned back on the couch, resting a head on your hand.
"And who said you could watch my space heroes?"
Leo appears, sitting on the couch beside you.
You retort, cringing at the fact you didn't just apologise instead.
"Well, i hope u don't mind that i'm watching with you. I've seen this episode a bunch, so i'll give you spoilers"
You're both into the film, not actually talking, that was until Mikey came in.
"Hey, guys! What are you watching?"
Leo turns to look up at him,
"Lamo! Hey, i thought you'd be with Raph by now?"
Again? Why is everyone assuming you're with raph? You can't be obvious, if his brothers found out, they'd tell him for sure.
"Why are you all assuming i'm with Raph? It's not like we're dating or anything, i'm here to hangout with you all, not just him!"
you say with an attitude, hoping to squash any thought of you and raph.
"Uhh, well i was talking to leo, him and raph had an argument earlier, and they were supposed to be talking it out..."
You turn red, glancing between the two.
Mikey chimes out, causing leo to send him a glare.
"Don't worry, we know you and raph don't hangout constantly, just almost constant"
Leo subtly jokes, hoping to ease the awkwardness.
You reply, falling deeper into the couch.
"It's fine, and Raph and i sorted it out, he's working out in his room, it didn't take long to-"
You tune out leo, pretending to focus on the tv when in reality you were still thinking of Raph, with how much everyone else brought him up, he just came back to your thoughts, his big muscles and pretty eyes, you remember the time he first took his mask off infront of you to get a rock out that was bugging him, and he looked absolutely handsome.
You chimed back into the conversation, looking between them.
"We're getting some Pizza, Brah! We'll be back in uno momento!"
You watch them both leave, turning back to the film.
"When the hell did you get here?"
It's him, you'd recognise that intoxicating voice anywhere. You turn your hair to where Raphael was emerging from and shrug,
"Got here a while ago, where have you been?"
"Where do you think i coulda been, numb-nuts?"
Raph sits beside you, both arms resting on the back of the couch, it was a normal way to sit on the couch, but you couldn't help but think of the fact that his arm was right behind you, all big and muscular, it could almost make you drool.
While the film continued to play, you found yourself scooting just a bit closer to Raph, but of course, you can't have just one embarrassing occurrence happen in one day.
"What'dya think you're doing?"
You raise a brow, trying to act casual,
"Getting comfortable, that a problem with you big guy?"
He was used to your normal teasing and use of little petnames like that, but that was delivered with a certain charm he couldn't quite place.
His voice was so much more softer when he wasn't trying to be intimidating, yet it was still gruff, it was soothing.
"Hey, lemme ask ya something.."
You turned to look up at raph,
He tenses a bit, avoiding eye contact,
"Why didn't you come into my room when you first got here? Did i do something?"
You straighten up, clearing your throat,
"Well i was actually planning on it, but i first saw donnie and april, and they both just assumed i was going straight to your room, and i thought maybe we just hangout too much."
Raph shook his head in disbelief,
"We don't hangout too much, don't be stupid"
You felt his arm move back a smidge, feeling like maybe you made him angry.
"Well yeah, thats not what i meant-"
"Yeah but i didn't mean it in that way"
"If you aren't going to listen then i'm not going to bother talking to you."
You hear raph sigh, then feel a large hand pull you back, hard. You slam onto his side, and his arm wraps around you.
"If you aren't gonna talk to me at least do me the favour of keepin' me warm."
You go red, you've never been this close to Raph and he's never initiated this level of contact with you before.
You both continue the film, and you felt yourself resting more and more into Raph as his arm deepened around your waist, squeezing your hip softly. You make a little nervous sound, and you feel him do it again.
You say, you don't want him to stop, why did you say that?
"Whatever you want, little miss sunshine"
You scoff, you were about to retort when you hear Mikey and Leo come in.
"Pizza!- woaah, are we interupting lovebirds?"
You and raph move away from eachother, a wave of disagreement between you both.
Donnie chimed in, coming out of his lab with April.
"What kind of pizza did you guys get?"
April asks, everyone gathering at the couch.
"Cheese from little tony's, only the best"
Leo replied, oening the box. Mikey took a big whiff, sighing dramatically.
You take a slice, turning back to the film.
"Hey raph, you getting in on this?"
Raph just shakes his head, not removing his eyes from the movie playing.
"Suit yourself! More for me, Brah!"
After everything settled, the end of the movie credits role, it was only you and raph once again, everyone returning to their regular routines.
You get up, planning to leave, that was until you felt yourself pulled back down, back against the couch. You look up and see raph staring down at you.
"I'm sick of you pretending like you don't catch on. You know i like you, what? Am i too freakish for you? Too mutant?"
You couldn't form a coherent sentance, like you? Like you??? When the hell did that happen??
You were finally able to gather your thoughts,
"You aren't too mutantish or freakish for me Raph, don't be stupid...i-...i just didn't think you liked me back, i guess i was so focused on my own thoughts that i really didn't notice you liked me"
You felt yourself getting flustered, Raph was just staring down at you.
Phrased like a command, but delivered as a desperate question. You nodded, feeling more and more nervous as his lips reached yours.
Your arms caress his face, leg trying to wrap around his large frame as his hands move down, squeezing your hips and groaning into the kiss. He trails his kisses down your face, reaching your neck and leaving hickeys wherever he moved.
"Been dreamin' of this...want you so bad babygirl..."
You shudder, his breath on your neck feeling so warm and calming.
"Can't wait, hon. Need you now..."
His hands trail down, playing with the hem of your pants.
He pulled your pants down antagonisingly slow, savouring ever moment. Raph had never done this before, and neither had you, so you both didn't know how this worked or what to do, but that wouldn't stop Raphael.
