Camden hovered by the stove.

Angeria had served her coffee not even an hour ago, but still, with a guest in the house, her instinct was to put the kettle on.

“You’re dying to offer me some tea, aren’t you?” said Angeria from the door, as she removed one by one her thousand layers of winter clothing and hung them on the coat rack.

Camden smiled, caught.

“Listen, you can take the girl out of England…”

“But you can’t take the British manners out of the girl. I get it.” Angeria sat at the table between the kitchen and the rest of the house. “I’ll take some tea.”

Angeria le había servido un café hace menos de una hora, pero con una huésped en la casa, su instinto era prender la pava.

Camden vacilaba junto a las hornallas. 

–Te morís por ofrecerme un té, verdad? –le dijo Angeria desde la entrada, quitándose una por una las mil capas de ropa de invierno y colgándolas del perchero.

Camden sonrió al verse descubierta.

–Bueno, se puede sacar a la chica de Inglaterra…

–Pero no se le saca lo inglesa a la chica. Te entiendo. –Angeria se sentó a la mesa entre la cocina y el resto de la casa–. Te acepto un té.
