“Are you ready? Are you up to the challenge? Do you have what it takes to defeat me?” -Seto Kaiba

After all this time starting from that very first match, there was no clear winner between the two of you. You both manage to finish with a tie each time no matter what decks you both use in your duels. It might be a little frustrating, but you definitely kept this guy’s attention for quite a long time now. Nevertheless, you would be lying to yourself if you said that you didn’t have any fun with him as well.

Lately, the feelings between the both of you have grown into a mutual attraction towards one another. Even though you have never shown any indication, Kaiba seems to have sense that from you and is getting ready to initiate his plan, a plan where he intends to win.

He’s not running anywhere. He isn’t going away either. He’s simply just watching you, waiting for a chance to get you alone again. When he sees you go inside a room, he seizes the opportunity to use his card to get in.

You hear footsteps approach from behind you and turn around. After realizing that it was just Kaiba in the room, you let your guard down and turn on your charm. His alluring look draws you in, but you didn’t budge or make any movements towards him. You aren’t going to let him win that easily.

You notice that he did this same look at you when you and your friends first met him. You thought to yourself. Wait. Did he look at me like that back then as well?

“Guessed you figured it out, huh,” he smiles.

Who knew that a simple card game could bring two people closer together? It was just a coincidence, right? When did I fall for those blue eyes?

Kaiba has such a powerful stance, but you can already tell that he’s getting impatient. He eyes you very carefully, studying your physique and slight movements. When the sun goes down, he’s going to make his move. You just didn’t know it yet.

… … …

There was no warning. It just happened, right? You knew Kaiba was capable of doing a lot, but did that just really happen? Did you both have a good time?

The next day, you decide to attend Kaiba’s exclusive presentation. He plans to unveil the new Duel Disk he created for a new tournament he’s hosting. As he shows it off on the stage, you can’t help but think that this guy really brightens up your world.

Story:

Seto Kaiba has one goal in mind. That is to defeat Atem in a simple game of Duel Monsters.

“I’m a loose cannon!” Kaiba is someone who makes up his own rules and tends to defy logic. How else can you explain the sudden appearance of his favorite god card standing right behind him, Obelisk the Tormentor.

He sends Atem a message, “I’m comin’ for ya!” His desire to duel him continues to grow each second. Kaiba doesn’t like waiting for long, especially on a day like this.

Atem receives Kaiba’s message. He’s already quite used to his demands on a daily basis, but he isn’t going to decline Kaiba’s wish today. If it’s a duel he wants, then it’s a duel he shall get. “I’m gunnin’ for ya!”

They both prepare their decks and their own duel disks and set for their meeting place.

Once they enter the building, they each choose a side to stand on. As they wait for their duel to start, they both warm themselves up by practicing their favorite dueling poses and card handling techniques.

Kaiba observes Atem from across the room. As they continue to do their warm-ups, he exclaims, “I hope you’re ready!”

Atem never adverts his gaze away from Kaiba and answers, “Automatic!” He’s always ready to duel his dearest rival anytime and anywhere, but he would never admit it. After all, he doesn’t want to duel him everyday, or does he?

They finish their warm-ups and face each other with intense passion and the upmost respect for one another. They both have practiced and fought many duels against other opponents, each duel more challenging than the last. But, neither can deny their history. They are both very competitive duelists who have clashed a number of times in the past, each testing out their own limits and finding the strength to recover from hopeless situations. As they face each other once again, the battle between these two will heat up and their true emotions will show within every single moment of the duel.

With one look, Kaiba silently asks him, “Ready?”

Atem’s strong stance and smile lets the Blue-Eyes enthusiast know his answer.

There is no doubt in their eyes. They are both going to give their all and aim to be the best. Neither of them will give up nor give in to one another. They will each call upon their favorite monsters and will persistently strive for the upper hand in this duel. This long-awaited, epic battle shall now commence!

Story:

Seto Kaiba knows what he wants and who he wants to be. Whether he is dueling or not, he will do everything that he can to be the best and excel in everything that he does.

"I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine." Once he has his mind set on something, there's no one who can change that or stop him. He's never given up on a challenge and he doesn't plan to stop anytime soon. He will laugh and brush off any excuse that comes his way, and he always succeeds in achieving his ultimate goals in life.

"I'm now becoming my own self-fulfilled prophecy!" He is his own person. He knows exactly who he was meant to be. So, watch yourself! (Oh!) Be prepared! (Oh no!) Get your deck ready! (Oh no!) It's time to duel! (Oh no! Oh!)

"I'm gonna live." Kaiba has an extraordinary life. Being the president of KaibaCorp at such a young age definitely has its perks; being rich is one them and being able to host a Dueling tournament to see if he can be crowned King of Games is another.

"I'm gonna fly." What good is dueling if you don't have any fun with it? Showing off his expressions towards his opponents tells them how passionate he is about the game.

“I’m gonna fail.” Who Kaiba? No, he won’t. He’ll annihilate those who stand in his way! There’s nothing that can stop him from reaching towards victory, for without victory, what does he have? For Seto Kaiba, failure is not an option.

Story:

Once Seto Kaiba enters the scene, gasps fill the air and silence overcomes the crowd. He has quite the reputation, so there are two options that you can do: you can either hang out with him (which very few people do) or be scared of him (which is what many people tend to do when wanting to stay on the safe side). So, if he ever approaches you, you better be prepared for whatever happens next. Whatever he says goes. There's no turning back or running away at all. This isn't a dream. This is real.

If he wants to duel you, then he will come out and challenge you. If he wants you to work at his company, then he will demand that from you. If he wants something from you, then you better watch yourself. So, beware. Seto Kaiba does not deal with any excuses, so don't you dare try coming up with one.

Seto Kaiba knows how to entertain an audience. After all, he's the ringleader. He calls the shots. He's like a firecracker. He makes it hot when he puts on a show.
