If Cas miraculously survived (spoiler: he had) and the confession was resolute, unwavering—cool. But things never seemed to go their way. Realizing he'd accidentally outted 'them' to the fam, Cas began sputtering clumsy afterthoughts, always trying to make shit easier for Dean. Even when it made the ride back kinda weird. Dean knew Cas was expecting something. Obviously. After what happened, so was Dean—and he tried to find the right words, God, did he try. But he couldn’t…get it up: emotionally. …Dean had whiskey-dick of the heartstrings, which was just as bad (if not worse) than the standard kind. Everything was fucked up. Even when they got home, things continued to spiral. This time Dean wasn’t totally to blame: Cas hardly gave him a chance! The next thing Dean knew, after a peck on the cheek, Cas flew out the door searching for Kelly Kline! Knowing full-well Dean needed to mull things over, gather his thoughts, to feel confident and only then— Instead of wallowing, Dean devised a plan. One that involved more show than tell. He didn't need a speech to return Cas' love—he had a better idea. Word Count: 9.5k Created/Written for @spnkinkbingo

While true good and absolute evil existed in the world, there was so much more on the spectrum he was willing to accept. Maybe this time, he was using that philosophy as an excuse… It wasn’t exactly like he’d prepared to feel the pull of his damn soulmate during a hunt! Except, Sam had faith everything happened for a reason. When he allowed their ‘creature of the week’ to fake his death while they walked away from an incomplete mission (unbeknownst to Dean), that same monster ended up proving soulmates were real—saving Sam’s life. Destiel Overload!

Guys, guys! Did you see what I did?! I’ve post over 40k of Destiel fic in ONE DAY for all to read! I don’t even recognize myself!! True, it was my @deancastropefest posting day (so excited for this fic y’all!) but then...I remembered all the fics I was half-way done with and realized I gotta start following through. It’s a problem, I’m working to get better. I know I have a lot of WIP stuff floating around. What’s worse, is that a lot of it’s done or (at least) most has a few chapters ready for posting. I’m going to actively work to fix that. I’m hoping today was the first step :) Wish me luck, if all goes according to plan, you’ll see more updates popping up! Until then: here are two new COMPLETED works!
