thinking about these tags tonight (was too lazy to retype it despite there being typos whoops) and like nite drives me insane. here's some more context:

caecis doesn't know about the fact that nite can just heal them up and that by not he's creating vulnerabilities. like yeah, at first the marks seem to disappear almost as quickly as they appear. but then over time they tend to stay longer. so eventually he honestly doesn't think much about them other than he really likes how they look but he does always offer to heal them himself if nite doesn't want them to be noticeable (caecis gets carried away and doesn't think to keep them conspicuous). nite always declines though. but usually once he gets around others, he'll heal them instantly.

so anyways, it's just one of the many little ways that nite's feelings become more obvious? nite doesn't trust easily or really at all. so to quite literally present what is basically his achilles heel(s?) to caecis... and for caecis, even though he doesn't know, to never take advantage of that even if a part of nite expects it... man.

the part that drives me insane is that nite tends to be so subtle about it all. like he has moments where it's glaringly obvious but caecis is typically the more obvious one. and just the fact that he denies it for so long. like i see right through you, nite... plus sometimes i think i just worry that people will misinterpret, that they'll think caecis loves nite more than nite loves him. but that isn't the case. nite just shows it differently.

My dad doesn’t say I love you but he sends me moon pictures. He asks me to go on walks with him every night to only talk about the galaxy because he knows how much I admire it. He doesn’t say I love you but he bought me a telescope for that very reason. He doesn’t say I love you but he’ll give me the bigger slice of food even if it’s his favourite. He sends me WhatsApp videos on how important sleeping early is. He doesn’t say I love you but he calls me before exams to calm me down because he knows how anxious I get. He doesn’t say I love you but he bought me a new gold bracelet and drove 15 hours to give it to me 2 days after I lost mine. He does my hair every Eid so I don’t have to… he knows I hate waking up early.
