Rewatching Babadook tonight with chatty teen girls but still got a lil triggered. Walked the in laws dogs with C and got dewy soaked feet. Happy to be going home tomorrow where I can know how to work the shower. I'm grateful for the life I have. I'm sad my family are so disparate and selfish but I get why that's the case. It's all these traumatised mentally ill people who don't fully trust each other and find each other triggering. I feel I used to be thr very same until recently and still have a lot of bad habits. But I do wish things were different. Being at in laws house sometimes makes me sad my family can't connect like this. I feel motivated afresh to keep building up my found family and safety nets. I want to keep growing and healing. Next stop needs to be my attitude with friends etc
