You’re so welcome Nodoka
And shit we even get a brief look at Cure Summer!
Ah fuck this endcard gonna make me cry.
So Healin’ Good Precure episode 45 closed out the series, and fuck does it feel bittersweet ending my first Precure. I miss these girls, I want to keep watching them forever. But it’s a nice ending and now I’m going to get to see a new cast of girls to fall in love with. Wild. As a final this honestly was a lot weaker than last week’s episode - nothing about the Healing Garden is interesting enough to warrant spending time here and we basically just use it to reiterate on the themes and tell kids more directly “hey humans fuckin pollute shit, fight back” but hey whatever. Summer’s introduction within the actual episode was entirely unnecessary but I sorta popped off anyway. Uh, yeah. Tbh show should’ve ended last week.
Anyway though I loved Healin’ Good a lot and I’m gonna give it a 7/10 because yeah.
Urasekai Picnic episode 8 was, sorta just pretty solid. We take a kind of comedic premise - though not unbefitting of the show’s usual urban legend and internet rumour influence - explore it a little, introduce a cute new girl I like, and even have a fight scene that’s like, not poorly directed. It’s not visually impressive in the slightest but given the show’s chase scenes are actually bad, having a fight scene that doesn’t stink is certainly a surprise. Also, Sorawo wears no contact lenses this episode - she’s full heterochromia the entire runtime and that’s great. Yeah, that’s us.
