he’s bruised all over, feels an aching in his back, stomach, chest -- just anywhere that he can feel he aches. the blood against his lips is dry and it’s corners are beginning to turn a shade of purple already. he knows he looks terrible, has probably never looked this bad in his life except for that one time in elementary school when he’d gotten the role as a tree in a school play and they’d decided to paint his whole body in moss green (he hadn’t been able to wash it off for a good week).
perhaps if it were any other time he’d immediately cab to baekhyun’s place, send his friend a text and just lie there and contemplate the meaning of life. if it were any other time, he’d find solace in his best friend’s room. but it isn’t and jongdae too tired, too disappointed in the other boy to even want to face him.
but it’s too late, he’s already at the macheon hill community and it’s almost out of habit that his legs drag him to the fourth lane. he stops of course, mostly out of realization but also because the aching in his legs has him wobbling, momentarily leaning against a wall.
“ah fuck,” he breathes, clutching onto his stomach.
he makes a turn, finds himself at the second best place to reside in (anywhere would be good, jongdae just needed something to drink and a place to rest). he finds himself moving towards the third lane and stopping at 304. ah.
kim taehyung. perhaps the last person who’d want to see him right about now. but jongdae could honestly care less the stinging on his face and the stampede going on his stomach acting as a source of distraction of his current relationship status with taehyung.
he pounds on the door unceremoniously so, over and over again. maybe if he didn’t pass out soon he’d apologize -- he’d see his mood.
