“in a minute,” the words muffle themselves around the cigarette in his mouth, taking a long drag before blowing it out into the slightly cold seoul air.
he likes coming to taehyung’s place for their (increasing number of) booty calls because it meant he could take a few moments after to stare out the window and enjoy the view while going through a pack. (if he ignored the whispers of ‘prostitute’ running through his head when he left right after). it reminded him his troubles are small — nothing he can’t get over (especially that one lying in a bed behind him).
he always does get a growing itch to smoke when he’s around taehyung, his hand twitching uncomfortably at the empty grip of nothing in his fingers.
he only hovers for a few short moments more, shivering slightly as the wind hits his bare torso, before he stubs out the cigarette, throwing it to a corner of the balcony floor. there’s a tight feeling in his throat once he’s inside as he slips off his slippers and gets back into bed. it’s still there as he wraps his arms around taehyung’s waist and pulls him closer towards him, as he inhales sharply at how good he smells.
(a lot like home, if home had a smell).
he’s still not used to staying after the sex, a concept still so foreign to every fiber of his body, like the reappearance of taehyung in his life still was, a voice in his head reprimanding him for being so easy. yet still he brushes his lips against the other’s throat and half whispers a goodnight.

he was tossed in an orphanage for a while before they found his uncle
