A 5×4×5 drabble for the May Trope Mayhem prompt 'Royal x Knight' - I thought it would fit well for Codywan, but I couldn't actually make a story work, so you're just getting a kind of fairy-tale-ish drabble :)

Cody was supposed to be

Just one in a number of

Forgettable faces, crowds of soldiers

Born to serve, no individuals.

Obi-Wan was meant to be

A shining star, an heir

Following a legacy of old

Not his own futile dreams.

~

They should not have met

Not have seen each other

As people, equals in life

Nor fallen in destructive love -

~

Yet they found each other

And with the other's help

Each found a way in life

That suited them fully, truly

~

And their love not destructive

But building, creating a space

For this royal and knight

To live happily ever after.

Siamo ancora a maggio. Ho capito che fare la stagione all'isola dell'elba mi aiuta, perché è come se mi svegliassi per lavorare, anche se le giornate sono vuote, non hanno uno scopo, sono contenta ugualmente. Probabilmente, non riesco ad ammettere che sono semplicemente felice di essere qui, che non voglio tornare a casa, che voglio stare dove c'è il mare. Non ho ancora comprato un diario, cosa che ho dimenticato a casa, vorrei anche un album per disegnare. Vorrei, cosa vorrei? È come se ora tutti gli obbiettivi si perdessero davnti alla maestosità dell'acqua salina, è come se tutto prendesse senso e la vita fosse meno orribile. Come se tutto fosse più leggero, anche se faccio 42 ore a settimana senza riposo e vengo pagata per 40. Giuro che il mare riempe ogni mancanza. Vorrei? Cosa vorrei più di questo?
